One of the great things about Miami is its architecture. Miami is an architectural city. The recent influx of starchitecture that has made some ask whether Miami is America's next great architectural city is only the last chapter in a 100+ year history of really spectacular architecture, from Mediterranean revival palazzos and villas, to art deco dreams, to the drama of the midcentury modern.
